I am the Founder and Creative Director of London-based independent commercial film production company, WEEKEND.

Since launching WEEKEND I have overseen the growth and day-to-day management of the company, been the lead creative on all projects, overseen a creative team of five and managed productions with crews of up to 150 people and budgets of over £1 million. 

As Creative Director, my key responsibilities are ensuring a high quality and consistency of output, all measuring up to exceptional standards of cinematic storytelling, across a range of clients whilst working with both agencies and direct to brand. 

This means pitching and winning work by generating outstanding creative and a clear vision for any given project. I manage the development of often complex campaign and series ideas that live across multiple platforms. I pride myself on being able to spot the germ of a great idea and guide further development, empowering my creative team and inspiring the passion that is essential to making any idea the best it can be. 

This often means taking a project from initial conception right through to delivery, liaising with and managing the interests of several different stakeholders and generating creative and technical solutions to any challenge that arises during the production. 

A key part of my role is the management and development of our in-house and freelance creative talent. This means briefing with clarity and precision, identifying and nurturing the best ideas and taking the lead on pitches.  

As a company director, it’s essential that I have a full understanding of every stage of the creative and production process and, crucially, how decisions made in one department impact another. 

In three short years I have built a growing, sustainable company with an industry profile and a solid slate of returning clients.
